How to Play
First thing: Register! Tap Register from the first screen of the game. Enter your oil company name,username, password, and e-mail address. You must use a valid e-mail address to be able to activateyour account! Please do not use any profanity or hate speech in your oil company name. Nameswith this content are subject to deletion.
- Read the instructions. Tap "i" in the top right corner from the main screen!
- Drill a new well! When you first login to the game, you have 1 oil well. The first new wellyou drill costs $50. The cost then goes up each time you drill a new well. The more wellsyou own, the more daily oil production you will have and the more money you will make!Also, your net worth will go up because it is based on these values.
- There are upgrades, for better drilling and production but they’ll cost you more.
- There are 7 different colored skins for each of your equipment which make your fieldscustomized and look good.
- Add a friend! If you know anyone playing Oil Baron, get their username and add them as afriend!
- Check out the top performers using Game Center!
- Upgrade your well to make more oil! Tap on a well from the My Wells screen. Now in detailwell view, tap Upgrade. You can choose from cost and production increase bonuses!
- Perform a well treatment! You can only do this once per day, but it will increase your wellsdaily production! As the number of wells you have increases, other actions unlock such asfrac job and deep drill!
- You can adjust sound, change password, reset account, or logout all from the settings menu.
- You can login to Oil Baron with your account from any iPhone or iPad device with the app installed.
- Watch the Price/BBL. It will change periodically and this determines how much you are paidper barrel of oil you sell!
- Tap info tab for a complete tutorial that can help you quickly understand the game.
