Unlockable Sword Upgrades
There are two of these sword upgrades which will improve the strength of the attacks of the heroic duo in the levels The following levels hold a Sword Upgrade
In the Temple Of Terror look on the left side of the narrow hallway where the enemies burst through the paper walls for the treasure chest
In the Sand Sky Run and Gold look to the right of the area where the plants first attack locating a set of vines to cut away to reveal the treasure chest
Unlockable Unlimited Flaming CutlassBlade Barrage PowerUps
Due to a bug in the programming it is possible to continually powerup the weapons of the heroes When the necessary 10 of the Grog BombsThrowing Axes are compiled trigger the beginning of the PowerUp followed immediately by pressing DOWN to switch to the other character Now switch back and that player will be poweredup but they will have not spent their stockpile This means that it is possible to keep poweringup making many battles far easier than they should be
Fight against Blacksmoke James
Attack by pressing Square2 When he attacks block with R1 Finally when he hides in the smoke pick up a barrel on one side and on your way to the other look for bullets or bombs coming out of the smoke This is where he will be Then throw the powder kegs at that location and pick up the one on the side you are going to Repeat this until he is defeated
Fight against De la Vega
When he is near the central mast he must be attacked at the same time so that he does his combo and damages the mast
Fight against Jacoby
Use Jacks Grog Bombs and throw them on the platform
Fight against Pentel
There are lines around Pentel that hold up a chandelier over his head Cut those ropes and the chandelier will fall on top of him This is much faster than throwing objects at him
More money
First upgrade all your moves that you have Then kill as many enemies as possible You will easily kill them Repeat the level then kill them again
Save attack move upgrades
LuKiss This socalled glitch allows you to retain your upgraded attack moves During the game as you gain enough coins to upgrade your attack moves do it As you finish each level save your progress Now if you encounter a difficult opponent and get killed when the game asks you to either Restart or Quit select Quit This is much longer of a process compared to just restarting However after you quit and reload the previously saved level the upgraded attack moves still remain You can use this method to levelup your attack moves by intentionally die like in a fire and quitandreload the game several times
