Ridge Racer V Overview
Ridge Racer V is a Playstation 2 launch title and the only Ridge Racer title to be released during that hardware generation. While retaining the Ridge Racer series formula of extreme powersliding gameplay, this title elevated the Ridge Racer formula at the time by offering two different styles of drifting and by introducing more immersive handling physics compared to previous installments. It is the final Ridge Racer title before the series reformulated itself a gen later with the introduction of nitros.
