Rise of the Robots Overview
Rise of the Robots is a fighting game, developed by Mirage Studios and published by Time Warner and Acclaim Entertainment for the 3DO, Amiga, CD-i, GameGear, MS-DOS, Sega Genesis, and SNES.
The game is similar in style and gameplay to other fighting games at the time, such as Street Fighter II and Mortal Kombat. The major difference being that Rise of the Robots uses pre-rendered CGI sprites rather than pixel art.
