Road Rash II is a third person combat racer by Electronic Arts, released exclusively for the SEGA Genesis/Megadive system.
In it, players take part in illigal street races across the United States, using whatever tactics avaliable to fend off participating racers and police officers, including punching, kicking, ramming and other tactics.
As the player progresses, he or she is able to use their earnings to purchase faster bikes, being promoted to higher levels within the game once all five tracks have been finished with at least 3rd place.
Players cannot return to previous levels, but, may return to the same race within a level as many times desired. As the levels progress, the races become longer, with bigger rewards, or fines if the player is busted by an officer, or wrecks his or her vehicle.
Progress is saved by use of a password system. Two passwords are given, one to Player 1, and to Player 2.
