If you stay in the water of the moat and kill seven ninjas with your sword a blue creature will fly across the screen Catch him for a 1Up This will work in all of the moat scenes

Press and hold A B Select amp Start on the 1st controller and A amp B on the 2nd controller then press Reset Release the buttons when the title screen starts scrolling up and while the title screen is still scrolling press the A button on the 1st controller and the B button on the 2nd controller at the same time If done right you should have 10 lives when you start the game
