Cheat mode
In Hythloth the elevator in the middle of the pool
of poison water may get a fish stuck in it If this happens you
cannot get on it to get to the yellow stand for the statue Also
when you try to make the elevator come down it goes up after about
three seconds so you cannot reach it in time

In the Ultima 9 directory there is a file called defaultkmp When opened in a standard wordpad or other text editor you will find the following text line
Cheat Commands
> Simply add the following codes underneath it

During game play the corresponding keys AltShiftI and AltShiftL will activate the cheat functions
Note Back up your files before attempting this modification Open the Ultima Ascension folder and open the file called defaultkmp Edit this file with a text editor and add the following line Cheat Commands the following commands
To activate the cheats in game press ALT SHIFT the letters a through k

Open your defaultkmp file in the Ultima 9 folder and scroll down to Cheat commands and add in the following line
Teleporters
Right at the beginning of the game at the Avatars house if you go outside to the hopscotch court you will see a rock Climb up onto the rock and jump onto the frame of the dummy When onto the dummy can take practise aim the crosshair above the fence and towards the tree on the other side of the fence Jump and you should be on the other side Now that youre there walk around the tree to its far side Look down at the base where the glass rises up and click around a bit This will activate the teleporters The ones closest to the fence change your armour while the further ones take you to major plot points
Unfortunately while you can keep the armour I have not found a way to get magic whilst playing through this way and keep the armour
To activate all cheats in Ultima Ascension
Open the Ultima Ascension folder and find the file called defaultkmp Now open the file with a NotePad and add the following line Cheat Commands Copy and Paste these
