Set in the Sengoku period.
The world's inhabited by a race called the oni, who live hidden from the humans, or try to but end up getting drawn into human affairs. There are 10 Oni families that make up the oni council, but two of the families have been exiled and are now called the Hagureoni.
The Heroine, Yukina, is one of the Chief's and has grown up with Yashehime as an orphan, being raised by three older Oni Chief's named Corki, Santa and Gimli.
One day the Princess of the Oni's, Yashehime, calls all the Chief's for a meeting after having a vision.
All the leaders show up and we meet Chitose, Kazuya, Shin, and Kazutake. As all the leaders are there Yasehime tells everyone on the council to remain seperated from the humans, least they want to die.
...
Later that night Yasehime is attacked by a mysterious man, who makes Yasehime fall into a coma. The oni try to capture him but he escapes and the oni serach the compound and find a Hagureoni named Senkimaru, who claims he was invited by Yasehime to meet with her. They keep him imprisioned, just to be safe.
Now it's up to Yukina to find the man who did this and help Yasehime get better, with the help of the other Oni Chief's.
The ending's and paths all are different depending on who the player choice's to persue as a comanion, Shin, Kazuya, Chitose, Senkimaru and Kazutake are the available choices.
