Iris Fortner is the only active Alchemist in Zey Meruze, where she lives with Edge Vanheit in her family workshop.
She is the decendant of the one alchemist who did not seek the power of a God and subsequently becomes the first seal for Oroborus, the Ruler of Dimensions.

Edge Vanhite
Edge Vanhite is a Raider in Zey Meruze. Since the death of his parents, Edge has lived with Iris who he cares deeply for. Most people think he is unfriendly, due to his anti-social behavior, but he is kind at heart and willing to die for those he cares about.

Nell Ellis
Nell Ellis works as a Raiders in Zey Meruze for her sister Yula Ellis. She is very energetic and tends to say things at the wrong time and place, which Iris tends to scold her for. Although she isn't the smartest in the group, she cares for her friends more than her own life.

Ash F. Abenstein is the highest ranking Raider in the world and many acknowledge him as the strongest man in the world. Due to his talents, Ash has always been able to attain anything he wants, often getting bored at how easy things are. He became a Raider in the hopes that it would interest him, but it failed to peak his interest in the Alterworlds.
