Three maps/modes are currently in development.
- Gotham Heights, a multi-capture king of the hill mode. Gotham Heights is a circular map with five control points along the periphery and a park in the center. Each team has 300 points that slowly decrease depending on how many control points the other team is holding.
- Coast City, the Turbine special map. Coast City is a pentagon-shaped, two-lane map that plays similarly to "tri-lane maps" of other MOBAs. It has a massive "urban jungle" between the two lanes, consisting of neutral enemies and a unique "Doomsday Device" that would proparly boost the team who claim them.
- Gotham Divided, a tri-lane map inspired by other MOBA games like Leaque of Legends.
Drone Kills, Dropped Credits, & Last Hitting
Currently there's a third and primary method of earning credits (in beta): drone kills. When killed by a friendly turret or drone, an enemy drone will drop credit on the ground, and any Protector on your team can pick up the dropped credit.
However, dropped credit is less rewarding than credit earned by last-hits. Here's a rough breakdown:
- Turret last-hits: a small amount of credit drops to the ground.
- Drone last hits: a moderate amount of credit drops to the ground.
- Champion last hits: a full amount of credit is instantly awarded.
There are a couple strategies at play here. For one, if the enemy team is able to push you back to your turret, it becomes possible for them to cause their own drones' deaths due to your turrets' last-hits, in order to redeem a small amount of credit. Also there is a chance that a Champion can be encumber by damage if to close to a enemy turrent without sufficent cover. Finally Champions must be wary not to be ambushed for each death of theirs just help out the other enemy team.
