Cheats and Tips
Build During the Protection Period
When the game enters the Protection Period, it's best to focus on building structures such as barracks, homes, etc. This will strengthen your empire enough to withstand upcoming attacks.
Get Free Tokens
Tap the share tab, then tap e-mail, cancel out and save. You'll be granted in-game tokens and can do this 10 times a day!
Hide Your Troops
Keeping your troops hidden will ensure no losses if you get attacked. Wait till you build up a decent army, and then start bringing your troops out of hiding.
Join an Alliance
Once your protection period runs out, you're prone to attacks from all the game's bad guys. Joining an alliance with a high troops killed ranking can help protect your now attack prone army.
Don't Build Large Wall Defenses
Your army may look protected, but it's an illusion. Players who want to up their Troops Killed (TK) rating will search for players with large wall defenses. Just build a couple hundred of each wall troup, that's good enough.
Build More Homes
Get yourself more gold and soldiers by putting more houses in your city. Your gold intake will become much greater than before.
Build up Your Might
In the game, your "Might" is how powerful you are. The more might you have, the stronger you will be in combat. Everything you do in this game is primarily focused to increase this number.
Gollum Tokens
Gollum Tokens allow you to play a game of chance for some nice prizes, and you get one each day you log into the game. However, there's another way to get an extra free Gollum Token each day. Normally, you have the option to share the game with 10 other people, which will net you that extra token.
There's a trick that allows you to do this without actually sharing it. Go to Share and then to Email, then you can cancel it and save the draft. Do this ten times and you got yourself that token, and you can also delete those drafts, so they don't clutter.
