Puzzle & Dragons is Puzzle RPG. In order to play, players must have a team of monsters and must mix and match Jewels in order to combat enemies. Players will enter dungeons, collect monsters in order to climb to the top.
Basics
Puzzle & Dragons has all the basics of an RPG. Players can level, coins, Ranks and stamina. There is also Magic Stones which must be bought with money.
Stamina
Stamina allows players to start and complete dungeons. Without Stamina, players cannot do anything except stay at the main screen and fuse, sell, or trade monsters. 1 Point of Stamina is recovered every 10 minutes.
Magic Stones
Magic Stones do a variety of things. They can Revive players in dungeons, recover stamina, expand Monster Boxes, Expand Friends List, and allow players to use the Rare Egg Machine.
Gameplay
The gameplay revolves around the player skillfully mixing and matching jewels in an attempt to attack the opposing monster(s). Though it may seem simple at first, there is a strategy involved. Depending on the monsters and the layout of the Jewels, the game changes.
Game Mechanics
Puzzle & Dragons is seperated into three parts; Dungeons, Play and Monsters. Players must collect monsters and strengthen them in order to fight stronger foes in the dungeons. By clearing dungeons players will unlock monsters, items, and new areas to explore.
Monsters
Monsters are a crucial part of the game. Players must level in order to be able to fight stronger opponents.
In order to capture monsters, players must clear dungeons or buy monster eggs.
Monster Eggs
Monster Eggs a way players can gain more monsters through chance. Players must pay using Magic Stones to buy a random egg. These eggs will then turn into monsteres. Players can also access the Premium Egg Machine at a cost of 5 Magic Stones. However the monsters gained there will be much more rare.
Players can also gain eggs through gifting. After level 20, players can gain pal points and gift their friends eggs by spending 200 points per egg.
Dungeons
The Dungeons is where the player will spend most of their time. Players will traverse multiple areas in an attempt to find treasure and defeat the boss.
