Tips and Strategies
Replay Levels
Although it's tempting to go right for the bonus items and stars, it's better to figure out how to solve the puzzle itself first. If you go for the stars first, you may end up running out of water, forcing you to restart anyway. Finding the path to bring the water to the pipe will often make reveal solutions for the stars along the way.
Wind Tunnels
Wind can travel very quickly through tunnels in the sand. To keep up the speed, keep the tunnels very thin and make all turns very wide and rounded. Sharp turns and angles may stop the movement of the wind, causing you to have to restart.
Lava
Lava is easily the most harmful thing in the game. It can mess up your level quickly if you let it, so typically, you want to get rid of the lava as soon as possible. Work on finding a way to drain the lava before you attempt to get the water to the pipe.
Only keep lava if it's necessary to deliver the water, possibly by destroying vines or other obstacles. Sometimes you'll have the option to add more lava, which you may need to use to clear out the vines, but make sure to never put in more than you need.
Clouds
Clouds can be extremely useful to solving puzzles if used right. Clouds can be refilled as many times as necessary. Always try to keep them in a position where they can accept incoming water, as it is often much easier to control the flow of water if it's in a cloud.
Managing Large Levels
In the later chapters of the game, the levels will get much bigger and more complicated. They are very intimidating if you view the challenge as a whole, but they become easier if you break the puzzle down into small sections. Figure out where the water needs to be to get to the pipe, then figure out where it needs to come from to get there, and so on.
Secret "Coo Coo" Stage
When viewing the tophy cabinet with Pluto, drag the screendown, so that the camera scrolls up. Above the trophy cabinet is a clock. Click on this clock to unlock a secret level.
