Cards are found throughout the world of Anodyne and are used primarily to open Card Gates. Young's inventory can hold a total of 48 cards but there are rumored to be 50 in the game. The player is required to find a certain number of cards in order to reach the end sections of the game, and some cards are only obtainable after the game has been completed.
