Chroma Squad is a tactical turn-based game in which the player is the manager of a TV studio. The game is presented at an isometric viewing angle. You control a group of stuntmen who fight in a turn-based fashion.
Customization
The player hires actors to play the role of the heroes, and they are able to customize them in-depth. Each one has their jumpsuit color that can be chosen, with each color having their own skill tree, allowing the player to customize their abilities.

In addition to the heroes, players can customize their studio by purchasing mics, cameras, lights and other equipment. They are in control of every facet in the game, able to construct their own episodes and complete seasons for their characters. Each episode is a mix between battles, dialogue, and explosive cinematics. The decisions you make throughout the game affect the story and lead to multiple endings.
Battles
The player's group of stuntmen fight in a tactical, turn-based fashion, in which you and your opponents take turns during battle. The stuntmen's jumpsuit color and their roles in battle are chosen by the player, and you can also select skills for your stuntmen and make your own build of abilities.

Items that improve your abilities during battle can also be purchased, such as fireworks which add damage to your attacks. A Teamwork feature is set to appear in the game, which increases the movement and interaction between your characters during battle. This Teamwork Pose can be initiated on any normal action, allowing your characters to do acrobatic jumps, team up with attacks or even do the finishing move with all of them.
Multiplayer
Along with single player, there is also an online multiplayer campaign mode. Here, players can compete with other TV studios (their friends) for viewership.
