FORCED is a 1-4 player online cooperative multiplayer action-RPG. The game utlizes a top-down perspective and uses point-and-click based combat. Each of the game's 30+ unique trials will challenge the player's skills, as well as their creativity.
Combat
FORCED often has the players face waves of enemy hordes, who sport a special tactical AI system. They then have to fight off the enemies using a variety of weapons, such as swords and bows. Each class has specific weapons they are able to use. Attacking the enemy one time will mark them, making them susceptible to special attakcs. Each enemy may be marked up to five times, allowing the attacks to do more damage.

There are a variety of different enemies, each of which has different strengths and will require different tactics to defeat. For example, Volatile Swarmers are enemies that explode when they are hit with an attack. A group of them will split up, so they aren't all together within the blast radius when one blows up, setting off a chain reaction. Occasionally, the players will encounter boss-type enemies, which are incredibly strong and will often take teamwork to defeat.
Classes and Skills
There are four classes: Spirit Blades, Volcanic Hammer, Thunder Bow and Frost Shield. Spirit Blades is well-balanced, Volcanic Hammer is powerful, Thunder Bow is long-range, and Frost Shield is defensive. Each class is given a specific weapon, which they can then improve over time by defeating enemies and completing trials.
Each weapon has two skill trees: Active and Passive. Active skills are specific abilities the player can use once they've acquired them. Passive skills change the base stats or abilities of the weapon. Each tree has eight abilities, making sixteen skills in total for each weapon. These skills are unlocked upon leveling up and can be turned off an on at the player's will.
Spirit Mentor
The Spirit Mentor, also referred to as the Spirit Orb, is a small, floating orb that follows players. This orb is the focus of most of the game's puzzles. Players can hit a button to make the orb stop, and hit it again to make it come toward them. The player must use this tactic to make the orb pass over certain areas at certain times, activating part of the puzzle.

Each player has a life bar which will be deplenished when attack by enemies, but this can be replenished by finding a health vial. Health vials must be passed over by the orb in order to activate. The orb will then be surrounded by a green circle which diminishes over time and which heals anyone within. Orbs can also pass over other vials which will send out shockwave attacks, hurting nearby enemies. Not all shrines will benefit the player, as some will hinder their movement as an example.
