Rabbids Big Bang is a 2D puzzle game, where the objective is to launch the Rabbids into space and complete various objectives for each level. Earn Rabbid Heads for finishing quickly and unlock new worlds for more levels.
Navigation
The player controls one of the Rabbids, who wears a jetpack and knocks their Rabbid into space by aiming with the touchscreen. After being knocked into space, the Rabbid will be sent into orbit around the planet they launched off of. If the player leaves the planet's orbit, they will no longer circle the planet and will instead float freely.
Using the touchscreen to make the Rabbid use fuel, which will propel them forward, players can alter their orbit. However, the player has a limited amount of fuel, and when it runs out, they can no longer control the Rabbid. Fuel can be replenished by collecting floating fuel orbs.
Missions
There are 150 missions in the game. Each mission starts off with the Rabbid being launched into space and each have varying objectives that must be completed, such as collecting enough coins, reaching a new planet, or running into a floating objects.
The success of each mission is determined by three rabbid heads. Performing the missions more quickly and accurately will unlock more heads, making three the best possible result. Getting more Rabbid heads rewards the player with more coins, which can be spent on customization, and unlocks new worlds.
Customization
Completing missions will give the player coins. They can then go to the customization menu and use the coins to buy upgrades. The launch bat and the jetpack each have ten possible upgrades. Upgrading the launch bat will give it more power, allowing the player to launch farther. Upgrading the jetpack will allow it to fly for longer. In addition, coins can be used for cosmetic changes, such as changing the baseball bat to a plunger and giving the Rabbid a hat.
