Tips and Strategies
Get to Know the Menu
Get to know the menu screen as you will come back to it often, unlocking new parts and purchasing goods. Event keeps track of how your current trains are performing, New RR gives you the opportunity to obtain new cars or cities to travel to and finally craft lets you modify your trains (which you should do often to stop them breaking down). Other options like Stats and Awards keep track of your progress, be sure to keep an eye on those.
Tracking Your Trains
Pop-up messages on your phone will tell you when a train has arrived at a certain destination or when a new job is available to complete so don’t worry about constantly having the game running in order to reach new destinations. You can simply revisit the game at a time suitable for you to set them in motion again.
Whilst you don’t have to keep an eye on your trains to see how they are doing, there are rewards if you do! Random coins and crates will fly about, and by tapping them you can pick them up. A great way to get some resources.
To make sure you know you are up to date with everything that is happening in the game simply press the arrow keys to move from train to train which allows you to see how they are running and how close they are to their destinations. If one is doing nothing then send it to its next location.
Creating New Routes
As only one train can run on a designated track at a time make sure that you expand your tracks and create new routes to popular cities for more deliveries. This is worthwhile but it also is expensive so make sure you have enough funds.
Speeding Things Up
Getting impatient and want to reach a destination quicker? Then you can use the ‘Boost’ button to get there faster. This costs 2 in-game dollars to do this so use it wisely.
Expanding without Spending
If you want to get to expanding your business straight away then you can use real money to purchase in game cash and coins to improve your parts, cars and tracks. However, there are other options available too. Running a lot of jobs over a few hours can accumulate a good amount of money. There are also promotional offers available such as watching a video for a certain amount of bux.
