Tips and Strategies
Attacking Enemies
Tap anywhere on the screen to move Thor around, and tap on an enemy repeatedly to attack it until it is defeated.
By holding down two fingers on the screen, you can throw Thor’s hammer, which is useful for destroying force-fields, or hitting long-distance opponents.
Circle Technique
Use the circle technique to maximize Thor's effectiveness in battle. Do this by placing your finger on the screen and swiping in circles hitting each enemy every time that you go by. When your finger swipes over an enemy Thor will dash over and hit them so this technique will keep Thor dashing rapidly from enemy to enemy so fast that he will almost be impossible to hit. He will also do damage to multiple enemies at once, which is always good. This is useful on defense stages.
Allies & Summoning
Your allies, who tend to be foot soldiers and archers, lack the strength to deal with tougher enemies, but they are good against smaller opponents.

The Einherjar soldiers, who have better armor and skills, can be powered up over time using rune coins. Find rune coin by destroying items in the environment or by meeting particular goals in a stage.
True allies unlock later in the game and are the strongest allies that Thor can call upon. They do take a little while to unlock but they are certainly worth the wait.
You can summon allies and stronger Einherjar allies using the touch screen. This is dependent on your energy level and energy availability. Your energy does rebuild over time, so you should have no trouble in consistently summoning help.
Letting the Einherjar Do the Work
As tempting as it is to jump in the stage as quickly as you can and leave your Einherjar behind, it is far more effective to get behind them and let them attack. All that you should be doing in the early stages is jumping ahead to hit switches and destroy obstacles as needed.
In the defense stages, keep the number of Einherjar maximized to the highest degree possible.
Upgrade Your Allies First
Make sure that you also upgrade your Einherjar and your allies before your hammer or armor. Don't bother upgrading your armor and hammer until you are ready to buy a new one of each. Buying brand new armor and hammers is far more expensive, but for the attack and defense/health upgrades that you get you get more for your money.
Levels
As you visit the numerous realms you will be presented with three objectives per realm, each rewarding you with a star that can be used to power up Thor and unlock specific armor types. When you get stuck on a specific level go back to previous ones that you now will find much easier to complete to earn more runes. Keep repeating this.
You have three missions per stage and each one is worth a star if you complete it. On your first try you will find it almost impossible to collect every single one so simply go back to the earlier levels once you are more accustomed to the game and controls and you will find it a piece of cake to get all the stars. Dont waste your time at the beginning, wait till you are fully upgraded and stronger.
Thor's Stats
You can boost Thor in four individual areas:
-
Strength: This makes Thor faster and stronger each time you raise a level.
-
Armor: These are new suits of armor that you can use once they are unlocked, either by collecting enough stars in the game or, if the option is available, purchasing them.
-
Skills: Here, you can teach Thor new moves on the battlefield, including a collective Hammer Spin that can hit multiple enemies at once. It is a good idea going for this move first, as it is useful whenever you become surrounded. Use your special skills as often as possible.
-
Weapons: This section is mainly about hammers. They get a bit bigger in size than the basis Mjolnir model Thor begins with and even come empowered with flame, electricity and more over time.
Allies' Stats
You can also increase the general speed and strength stats of your allies which will serve you better in the long run during later levels of the game.
ISO-8
Spend ISO-8 on statistical boosts. This is one of the best uses of the game's secondary currency. Boosting your attack, health, defense, special attack and special defense is possible with ISO-8. These upgrades will carry over to any and al armor or hammers that you buy throughout the game as well as any upgrades to your current armor or hammers.
App Store
Keep checking the in app purchase store to see if there is an offer wall available. Whenever the offer wall becomes available turn off the automatic upgrades on your device because successive upgrades tend to cause the offer wall to disappear
Unfortunately, there is no way around the game’s cash shop. At the beginning of the game you are given three general health potions, as well as a few mana potions. Eventually these do run out and once they do you will need to use Uru stones to buy new potions.
Sadly, the game doesn't let you purchase stones with in-game currency and you'll have to spend $1.00 to buy you enough to get a new health potion, but you may have to buy more.
If you do not like paying for extras, then you can also restart a level without paying any money, but once Thor runs out of energy he is out of luck, since you cannot restore it.
