Tips and Strategies
Need big money?
In order to gain the maximum profits possible, you will want to always use the top-tier products. Yes, they will take a long time to restock, but in the long run, you will be able to sell them at a high price which will end up in you bathing in cash during its selling period!
Bored of restocking frequently?
You can always upgrade a floor in the options screen in order to increase the time needed to restock a floor. However, do note that each upgrade costs Imperial Bux.
Need to get more credits?
If you have some spare Imperial Bux, you can exchange them for a few coins. However, the best way to earn more coins is to wait patiently for your selling period to finish and place higher-end products for sale.
Check your resident's affinity
You will want to check the affinity of a resident on the floor they are working on. If they are working on a floor where they have the best stat affinity for, you will be able to get better discounts on restock costs.
Unlock the scenes!
In this game, there are different scenes that you can watch, but you have to unlock certain characters within your Death Star. Check the list of residents and study their names for hints on how and what you will need to do to unlock them.
Death Star celebrities
Death Star VIPs will randomly visit your Death Star. Their effects to the floor you place them on varies: they may restock your floor completely for free, speed up the construction of a floor, or they may spend all their cash in buying everything that's on the floor they are placed in.
You can also invite these VIPs in your Death Star whenever you want in the options screen, however each VIP will cost you two Imperial Bux, which is risky, since you get them at random, and you won't know what kind of bonus you will be getting.
Elevator upgrades
Invest some of your Imperial Bux in upgrading your elevator, since in the long run, the more residents you are able to carry in your elevator the faster you will be in making more money.
Free spots available!
Always leave a free spot in your Death Star. Not only will this increase the chances of getting new residents, you will also want to leave it in the case the perfect resident comes for a visit. You will then be able to accommodate them using that free space.
Don't feel bad...
If you have a resident that is utterly useless and isn't good at anything, don't be afraid to remove them from your Death Star. They will only adversely affect your Death Star in the long run if you keep them in place of the better ones.
