Tips and Strategies
Personalise Your Game
Tap the 3 horizontal lines at the top right of your screen and select 'Settings' from the drop down menu and then profile at the top of the screen. This will give you the option to change your wallpaper, allowing you to take a photo, or use one you already have on your device.
Dont Quit!
Even if you are losing badly, finishing a game will always give you a good amount of XP, meaning you will level up faster.
Learn From Your Mistakes
Although it may be tempting to move quickly onto the next game, looking back on your mistakes will mean you won't go wrong in the same place next time. After each match make sure your review the questions and your answers in the results.
General Knowledge
This category offers the most variety of questions, meaning anyone can beat even the most experienced of opponent. This can also make for the most fun, interesting match-ups. Specific categories of expertise can sometimes result in going up against subject experts, so pick your categories wisely.
Look into Sub-Genres
Some categories contain sub-genres. For example, within the TV Show category, there is a sub genre of 'Breaking Bad'. This lets you focus in on the things you know best and test your wits against other enthusiasts.
Challenge Previous Opponents
Selecting the 'challenge' option from the post match screen will allow you to go head-to-head against people you've played before. This can be useful if you know you've got the advantage over someone; re-challenge them for an easy win. Be careful to not start your turn against strangers though, as more often than not they won't turn up if you're not quick enough to invite them.
Review Rankings
Of course its fun playing the game, but what's more satisfying than seeing your high scores above your friends?
If you logged in via Facebook or shared your log-in name with friends you will be able to review your friends rankings.
Each subject has a drop down menu that will allow you to see global and local leaderboards, giving an opportunity for players to have those all important bragging rights.
