Tips and Strategies
Stay Focused Above
Keep your eyes above your character so you can prepare for what's coming. This will help you avoid those enemies coming down, but also catch the all important items that boost you through the level.
Know When to Slow Down
While coins and gems are important to collect, as this is what helps you complete levels and unlock power-ups or new characters, sometimes aiming for a platform instead of a coin-rich area of sky will keep your little monster in play for longer. This ultimately will lead to more coins in the end, even if you miss a big batch.
Use the Wrap-Around Feature
If you tilt your monster off-screen one side of the screen he'll appear in the same place on the other. This can be useful if platforms or boosts aren't so easy to reach.
Practice using this to get from one side of the screen to the other quickly to maximize your rewards.
Collecting and Using Coins
Not only do coins give you a small boost and keep you going upwards, but they can also be used to purchase power-ups and new characters.
Make sure to upgrade your power-ups first and then take a look at the available character. Each character has its own unique style and power-up preference; for example, Redford prefers the Fireball, while Bluto has a tendency to use the Magnet. Find your own preference for power-ups and then find the character that takes the most advantage of it.
Complete Adventures
Adventures are basically goals that offer rewards, including coin bonuses and multipliers, once completed. These goals can vary from reaching a certain height to collecting a certain number of coins.
You can only have three adventures at a time and every time you complete a set, you can earn a bonus box. Bonus boxes will earn you loads of coins or even eggs, which can hatch other secret monsters fpr you to play.
Gain Free Coins
If you want free coins, and have a few minutes on your hands, tap on the “Free Coins” button in order to watch videos and earn 100 coins at a time. You can also "Like" the game on Facebook, follow on Twitter or subscribe on Youtube to earn some bonus coins as well.
