Tips and Strategies
Upgrading is everything
Your research facility must take priority in terms of what to upgrade first. You need to tighten your defenses, and one way is to ensure that is to have an improved research facility - you will then be able to upgrade your troops making them capable of better defense against other players' attacks.
Also, upgrading your credit vault and your alloy depot is very important, since it would be pointless to keep collecting these resources without anywhere to store them. While you can just keep collecting the resources that you have, you won't like to collect them every single time they're filled up, right? At the very least, the time interval in which they're filled up will be longer upgraded than when they're not, allowing you to have more time to manage other things.
Your immunity doesn't last forever
When you first begin the game, you will be given a few days of immunity against other players' attacks. Make sure to take advantage of this and do everything you need to do, like play the campaign mode so that as a beginner, you will know the basics. This is so when your immunity is gone, you won't have a hard time defending attacks from other players.
Unless you're prepared to defend your base, don't go attacking other people yet; because once you attack a player, your protection will cease.
Clean that mess up!
Have your droids clear the rocks and the junk surrounding your base, as this can get you crystals, which you can use for a variety of purchases.
Save some troops up too
When you attack an enemy base, whether they die or not, you lose them. Therefore, if you decide to unleash all of your forces on an enemy and only a handful of them die, you would have wasted all the money and training time you spent on them.
Hit the right spot
Having unlocked the Starship command, you will be able to use airstrikes faster and with more spread damage. You will want to use these on the enemy bases' resource facilities in order to halt their production, or you can also strike their headquarters so that it will be easier to destroy.
Clear your mission list!
Try to complete all your missions with three stars - since doing so will give you crystals, which is the game's premium in-game currency. By completing them, you can also increase your resource counts. Once you've completed all the missions with three stars, then you can proceed to attack other players.
Focus on your defenses
While getting trophies and resources from attacking other players can be very helpful for your base's progression, all of it will be for nothing if you can't defend them from others players' attacks. If you can't really defend them, then just use them all up. They can't steal them when they're gone.
Medals? No
Having medals usually means being victorious (well, it always does) but in this case you may want to keep your medals low. This is so you can beat other players easier. The more medals you have, the tougher your enemies will be; and you know resource gathering will be really difficult with that. However, if you're after the medal rewards, then go on and keep on attacking. Just make sure you win. Otherwise, well... you know, you lose.
