Mineko Okamura joined SEGA in 1998 and worked as assistant producer on REZ and Space Channel 5 at SEGAs internal Development Team UGA (United Games Artist). After the merge with Team Sonic, an other internal SEGA Dev Team, Mineko worked on Astro Boy for the Playstation 2. After that she left SEGA and joined Microsoft Game Studio where she worked on Ninety-nine Nights. In 2006 she left the Studio and established Grounding Inc. in September 2007 after she worked as a freelance producer.
