Tappy's most famous musical piece, the recurring theme song for the Metal Gear Solid series was noticed to share similarities with a 1979 song 'Pushkin's Garland' by Russian classical composer George Sviridov. These claims of plagiarism were denied by Tappy himself, but as a result of mounting pressure from Konami, the iconic theme song was omitted from Metal Gear Solid 4.
