In May of 1982, Lucasfilm's Computer Division hired Peter Langston to start a new project in computer games. Their first two games, Rescue on Fractalus and Ballblazer were developed by Lucasfilm Games and published by Atari. In 1990, Lucasfilm Games was renamed LucasArts Entertainment.
