Michael Kirkbride is best known for his work on the Elder Scrolls series of games. He worked as a concept artist, game designer and writer for The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard, as well as on The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Even though he left Bethesda Softworks during the development of Morrowind, he contributed in-game books and dialogue to the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, as well as its expansion Knights of the Nine. He is responsible for a large volume of the background lore associated with the Elder Scrolls universe, and is still active in the Elder Scrolls fan community.
