Horizon: Zero Dawn to Run at 1080p/30 FPS

Guerrilla Games' art director, Jan-Bart van Beek, has revealed to Videogamer that the studio's newly-revealed title Horizon: Zero Dawn will run at 1080p and 30 FPS, and that it uses a modified Killzone: Shadow Fall engine:

"It is actually still the same engine but then [there is] an enormous leap from Shadow Fall to this. The Shadow Fall engine isn't an open-world streaming world engine so for the last two years a lot of technological effort has gone into actually being able to make it work like this."

In other related news Guerrilla has also announced that there will be no in-depth tutorials in the game; players will instead be encouraged to work things out via trial and error.

Horizon: Zero Dawn, which was revealed during Sony's E3 press conference, is set to release exclusively on the PlayStation 4 next year.
