God Eater Resurrection Announced for PS4, Vita

God Eater fans rejoice - a new (well, kind of) title is coming to the PlayStation 4 and Vita.

Called God Eater Resurrection, the latest game in the series is a remastered version of the 2011 PlayStation Portable game, God Eater Burst (which is pictured below). While this may not be as exciting as an all-new entry in developer Shift's action role-playing series, Resurrection will include a bevy of new content.

The most immediate upgrade that players will notice is the graphical overhaul. There will also be new story events that take place after the events of 2013's God Eater 2. Rounding out the package is an all-new fighting style which features a fast-paced, aerial move-set.

God Eater Resurrection was announced in this week's Dengeki PlayStation magazine. Dengeki PlayStation reports that the title is around 50% complete.
