Batman: Arkham Knight and Yoshi’s Woolly World Top Debuts in Japan

Yo-kai Watch Busters: Red Cat Team/White Dog Squad (3DS) has remained at the top of the Japanese charts for a second week (week ending July 19th), according to Media Create. Sales fell by two-thirds but that still meant 220,998 copies were sold last week.

The latest Batman game - Batman: Arkham Knight (PS4) - debuted at number two. It managed to shift 48,802 units in its debut week. Yoshi’s Woolly World (WiiU) debuted at number three with sales of 31,158 units.

There were two other debuts in the top 20. Godzilla (PS4) debuted at number 10 with sales of 7,729 units, while I DOLL U (PSV) debuted at number 15 with sales of 3,615 units.

The 3DS line of handhelds sold a combined 26,971 units for the week. PlayStation 4 sales jumped more than 8,000 units to 24,266. PlayStation Vita sales dropped slightly to 13,190 units.

Wii U and PlayStation 3 sales remained even week-over-week with 11,028 units and 2,947 units sold, respectively. The Xbox One sold just 242 units.
