ZeniMax lawsuit against Oculus VR and parent company Facebook is moving forward, according to Polygon.
ZeniMax said in May that Oculus founder and half a dozen former ZeniMax employees used trade secrets to construct the VR headset and that they therefore wrongfully benefited from years of man hours and millions of dollars' worth of research.
Facebook motioned to have the lawsuit dismissed due to errors in Zenimax's allegations. However, US District Court judge Jorge A. Solis shut down the motion. Solis stated that the motions were based on questions of fact and should be settled in court.
A preliminary jury trial date is set for August 1, 2016.
