Four years after the Windows version of Terraria was released the game is now available for Mac and Linux.
The Mac and Linux version of the game is free for anyone that owns the Windows version. Save files will also work across these three versions of the game. However, the Windows, Mac, and Linux versions of the game are not compatible with console or mobile versions.
Terraria was first released on Windows in May 2011. It was later ported to consoles and mobile platforms in 2013 and 2014.
