Phil Spencer, the head of the Xbox division within Microsoft, has announced that he is actively pursuing the ability to play original Xbox releases on the Xbox One.
Phil Spencer revealed the news in a reply to a fan on Twitter.
This is far from confirmation that it'll happen anytime soon of course, but it's good to hear that Phil Spencer has been pursuing the matter with his team. In the meantime, Xbox 360 compatibility with the Xbox One launches this November.
