Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata is interested in working on The Legend of Zelda franchise. Tabata revealed his desire to work on the series in an interview with Dengeki PlayStation (as translated by Nintendo Everything).
"The Legend of Zelda series," said Tabata when asked what other franchise he would be interested in working on. "I’m not quite sure why myself, but a Zelda game made with the technology and know-how of Final Fantasy XV is the game I wish to create as of this moment."
Final Fantasy XV releases next year on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
