Coalton RossI'd say Heavy Rain is probably the best mainstream example of what you're looking for. Some people like the story better than others, and at times it can feel hamfisted, but like TWD, the story is affected by what you do. Unlike TWD, though, there are a large amount of endings depending on the choices you make, even moreso than something like the Mass Effect franchise. Digging into indie or older PC titles would probably help as well. Resonance, Monkey Island and Beneath a Steel Sky may tickle that point and click itch.
