Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has sold well enough to warrant another game in the franchise, according to a new report released by Nikkei and translated by Kotaku.
"When we start development, a large-scale investment will become necessary," said Konami.
While Konami is looking into developing another game in the franchise, it's unclear if creator Hideo Kojima will take part in the development of the new game or not.
Nikkei reports that other than the consideration of developing a new game no other information has been released.
