Free-to-play MOBA League of Legends will be getting its first major update in six years.
Riot Games is working on an all new client for the game which will better support new content and features. The new client will have a standalone friends list.
League of Legends is also getting other new social features, including a Friends mobile app, Clubs, and Parties.
Riot Games will grant alpha access to the new client throughout the 2016 season and has asked level 30 players with good behavior records to test it out.
