Hitman: Absolution

I was never a STEALTH fan and i was influenced by a friend to try this one. I have never played any hitman games before and this was my first shot. So i didn't really have much expectations from this one.

First thing that looked impressive was the graphics, the environment looked stunning to say the least, it was good enough to catch my attention for the initial phase. Then i came across the various techniques of taking down enemies using the environment, stealing costumes, hiding bodies, being anonymous, escaping a scene undetected and i was glued.

Being my very first stealth game, i wasn't smooth and perfect every time, and the good thing about absolution is that in Normal mode, it allows users to get away with some super silly mistakes (hardcore stealth gamers might hate that fact but they have other difficulty modes for that). I died about a gazillion times and yet instead of being frustrated, all i wanted to do was get past using a different technique and there are countless ways to get the job done, which is the beauty of the game to begin with.

This game deserves the praise and in my humble opinion, it definitely deserves to be the game of the year
