Call of Duty: Black Ops III was the top selling game in terms of revenue in the US on Black Friday, according to marketing research firm InfoScout. The game accounted for 9.8 percent of total video game revenue.
Madden NFL 16 was the second best-selling game with 6.7 percent market share. NBA 2K16 sits in third with 4.9 percent.
Super Mario Maker was the most popular exclusive title and the 12th most popular game overall, accounting for two percent of game revenue. Halo 5: Guardians and Splatoon are the only other exclusive games in the top 20.
Taking a look at consoles - the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One were essentially neck and neck. The PlayStation 4 took home 42 percent of home console revenue, while the Xbox One accounted for 41 percent. The Wii U sits in third with 17 percent.
The Xbox One with Gears of War: Ultimate Edition was the most popular console bundle. Target was selling the bundle for $299 and a $60 gift card. The bundle barely outsold the PlayStation 4 bundle with Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.
