Over $94 million was spent in November advertising video games on television in the US, according to research firm iSpot.
32 gaming brands ran 120 commercials more than 22,000 times during the month. Mobile developers have also been knocked off the top of the chart as console ads take over.
Activision led the charge, accounting for nearly 20 percent of the total amount spent. The publisher spent $18.6 million on 11 ads that were run 2,475 times. Over 90 percent of that was spent on Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
Bethesda Softworks spent over $14 million on TV ads for Fallout 4. Four different ads were played 779 times across 21 networks. That accounts for nearly 15 percent of the total amount spent.
Electronic Arts accounted for just under 10 percent. It dedicated all of its ad space to Star Wars Battlefront, running the "Become More Powerful" ad more than 500 times.
Ubisoft spent $7 million on ad revenue with just under 60 percent of that being dedicated to the "Siege the Day" ad featuring Idris Elba. It ran more than 350 times across 23 networks. Ubisoft accounted for more than seven percent of the total gaming ad space.
Nintendo rounds out the top five, spending almost $7 million running 15 different ads for various Wii U and 3DS titles. A large chunk was for Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, however there were several ads promoting more than one game. Nintendo ran its adds a total of 2,762 times across 13 networks.
