Blackbird Interactive and Gearbox Software have released a developer diary for the upcoming Homeworld prequel title, Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak.
It takes a look at how Blackbird Interactive has made Deserts of Kharak feel like a Homeworld title, despite being a land-based strategy title rather than a space-based one.
Last week a brief story trailer was also released for the game.
Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak launches on PC next week, on January 20th. Anyone who pre-orders the game will receive a free copy of the Homeworld Remastered Collection if they don't already own it, while existing Homeworld Remastered Collection owners get 20% off Deserts of Kharak instead.
