Eccentric game designer Hidetaka Suehiro, better known as Swery65 or SWERY, caused a stir on social media when he said he was no longer at the game company he co-founded. The Deadly Premonition and D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die creator wrote the following on an Instagram post earlier today:
It's 14 anniversary of Access Games today. However no party. Because I don't have any relationship with company now. But it's ok. I have a cup of coffee.
SWERY later went to Twitter to clarify the statement, saying that he meant he was only on a break from the company due to his health. In November 2015, Suehiro said he was taking time away from game development to focus on dealing with reactive hypoglycemia.
Thankfully for fans of both Hidetaka Suehiro and Access Games it looks like they can enjoy the pairing for more than 14 years.
