The annual Writers' Guild Awards took place in London, and three games were shortlisted for the Best Writing in a Video Game award. The show, which was presented by the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain, is meant to celebrate the best of British writing.
The Chinese Room's first-person adventure game Everybody's Gone to the Rapture ended up taking top honors. The Dan Pinchbeck penned PlayStation 4 exclusive beat out Sam Barlow's Her Story, and Sunless Sea by Alexis Kennedy, Richard Cobbett, Amal El-Mohtar, Chris Gardiner, Meg Jayanth and Emily Short.
Congrats to all three games for being nominated, and to Dan Pinchbeck for winning the prestigious award.
