Ratchet and Clank Movie?

Just recently, Insomniac games and Sony Computer Entertainment published a Ratchet and Clank video on their Playstation Blog. This came as a surprise as the video was named 'teaser'. Many thought that it was a new game that Insomniac finally decided to work on; turns out that anyone who that was dead wrong. Once clicked, Captain Qwark is heard speaking while the camera is on a picture of space. The camera pans down and reveals Qwark reading from a script. He then starts to yell saying that 'he cant work under these circumstances'. Ratchet and Clank then walk into the frame and tell Qwark to calm down and to 'pronounce the big words like he practiced'. Qwark then pushes down the fake backdrop and complains about why there isn't "action, eye popping CG, and dubstep". Clank then explains that everyone is 'busy making the Ratchet and Clank Movie'. Qwark then starts to insult those that animate, leading to a mouse pointer to appear and mess with Qwark by making him dance to the Grovitron and even removing his colors and showing only his model frame. Eventually, Qwark apologizes and a scenery of Metropolis is put up by the 'animator'. Then the Ratchet and Clank logo is slapped on the scenery above the trio. Qwark insults the animators once more, causing the logo to suddenly drop onto him.

The video really caught me by surprise. In my opinion, Ratchet and Clank is not a game that can be made into a movie. For one, not many people know what it is. Another thing is that it's an animation with a cat like creature (not a really good message to newcomers). On top of that, they intend it to be a comedy. If they were to be making a R&C movie, it would have to be nothing but pure action, details, CG, and explosions... and also dubstep. But either way, i hope that the movie turns out to be a great success. The movie is set to release in theaters everywhere in 2015.
