Sony's Worldwide Studios CEO Shuhei Yoshida took to Twitter early this morning to deliver another piece of good news for Sony fans: The PlayStation 4 will be region free, adding another member to the list of Sony gaming devices that support region-free gaming:

The PlayStation 4 will be the only one of the three major consoles to not restrict video games by region. Nintendo's Wii U is region locked - an unsurprising move for the company, while Microsoft recently confirmed that the Xbox One will have regional restrictions as well.
