Rockstar Games has renewed trademarks for Agent, the long-gestating PS3 exclusive that was first announced in 2009.
Set to be an Cold War espionage tale taking place in the late 1970s, Agent has reportedly in development since 2007, though not much has been shown of the game other than the reveal of a few screenshots a couple years ago. However, Siliconera has reported that Rockstar and parent company Take-Two Interactive have renewed the trademarks for the game, indicating that Agent may still be alive and well.
In 2011, it was revealed that the game was still a PS3 exclusive. With the PS4 set to release this Fall, however, could that still be the case? We're probably quite a ways from hearing anything more about Rockstar's Agent, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
