Which games are your unsung heroes of this generation?

Mirror's Edge, Skate

Which games do you think have been under-rated by the media and the public during the current console generation?

There are lots of examples, but the first ones that spring to mind for me are Mirror's Edge and the Skate series.

Are there any games you think have been massively over-rated?

    Apart from Modern Warfare and Black Ops 2, I think every other Call of Duty has been overrated.

    As for underrated, I think Mirror's Edge is one of those games, but it's getting a lot more attention now it seems with hints at a sequel. Also, Nier is a greatly underappreciated game, and boasts one of my favorite soundtracks, too.

    Mirror's Edge could definitely be up there. That was a tough 100%. I'd say Resonance of Fate and Spec Ops: The Line. I'll also give a half point to The Last Remnant.

    And if by over-rated you mean "Mass Effect 3" then no, I was one of the few who loved the original ending =).
