So what will be Valve's first game that's number 3? Portal 3? Half-Life 3? Left 4 Dead 3? Team Fortress 3? Why do they always stop at 2?

    You know, the picture here is a little confusing but this could have been a good discussion. Let's Reboot.

    I don't know why they don't do things in threes. I'm going to say that it'll be Half-Life 3. I suspect they would want that to be their first second sequel just because it's always been their defining game. However, they seem far more interested in Distribution and the SteamBox these days.
