Renegade Kid, the team behind Mutant Mudds, Bomb Monkey, and the upcoming episodic series Moon Chronicles, have announced a new Kickstarter campaign for an unspecified platform on their website.
Renegade Kid was founded in 2007 by Jools Watsham and Gregg Hargrove in Austin, Texas. They began their development career by making games exclusively for Nintendo handhelds and the Wii U. They found success in the horror series Dementium and its sequel for DS but became most well known for the 3DS title Mutant Mudds. This title would later be distributed through Steam, Wii U, PS3, PS Vita, and iPhone.
They are currently working on developing the episodic 3DS series Moon Chronicles, which is an expanded update to the original Moon for Nintendo DS. This series will begin releasing in Spring 2014. Also, look forward to their upcoming rogue-like title Treasurnauts, which is exclusive for the 3DS.
Are they making the jump to next-gen? And will it also be a Nintendo exclusive? We'll find out in a few days.
