A recent poll from Ars Technica shows that 37% of owned games on Steam remain unplayed, and simply sit in digital libraries collecting virtual dust.
Ars Technica have been polling random Steam users for two months. In total they looked at 172 million Steam Users to come up with these results.
The survey also reveals the top owned Steam games. DOTA 2 took top spot, with an estimated 25.9 million owners, followed by Team Fortress 2, with an estimated 20.3 million owners.
